The Little Mermaid

Grant High School Performing Arts Department Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid April 8, 9*, 14-16.

Based on the beloved tale by Hans Christian Andersen, the play The Little Mermaid is a musical love story. In a kingdom under the sea, the mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live on the land with the human Prince Eric. In order to make her dream come true, Ariel makes a bargain with the evil sea witch Ursula to trade her tail for legs. With the help of her undersea friends, Ariel must race against time to win her true love’s kiss. This magical play includes the irresistible songs “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

All evening showtimes are 7:30 p.m. ( plus one 2:00 pm matinee) Tickets $12 adults, $10 students, available at the door and online. Grant High School auditorium, 2245 N.E. 36th Ave., (503) 916-5160.
